ACI Foundation offers several fellowships and scholarships to high potential students in concrete-related graduate and undergraduate degree programs. Applicants for fellowships as well as scholarships must graduate and undergraduate students ready to take up these fellowships for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Applicants for Fellowships must be currently pursuing a concrete-related degree or program at an American or Canadian University or institution of higher education, or in an eligible country for the ACI Foundation Middle East & North Africa Fellowship. Scholarships are open to international students as well.
These scholarships and fellowships are categorized into two (2)
- ACI Foundation fellowships for Students at U.S, Mexican or Canadian Universities
- The ACI Foundation Middle East and North African Fellowships dedicated to Selected Middle East & North Africa countries.
The main aim of this program is to identify and attract talented and outstanding professionals, build their ability and skills for future careers in the concrete industry.
Benefits
ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships for students from U.S, Mexico and Canada
- You will receive an educational stipend worth $10,000 USD.
- The educational stipend will be paid directly to you to cover expenses related to tuition, room and board, books, student fees
- The foundation will partially pay for your travel and registration to attend two ACI Concrete Conventions
- You will receive mentorship from an assigned mentor.
ACI Foundation fellowships for Middle East and North Africa.
- You will be eligible for an educational stipend worth $10,000 USD
- The educational stipend will be paid directly to you to cover expenses related to tuition, room and board, books, student fees
- Scholarship holders will also receive recognition in Concrete International magazine and on the ACI Foundation’s website.
- The foundation will pay for your Airfare, hotel, travel stipend, and registration to attend two ACI Concrete Conventions
Eligibility
ACI Foundation Fellowships and Scholarships for students from U.S, Mexico and Canada
- You must be graduate and undergraduate students in a concrete-related degree or program
- Applicants must be currently studying at an U.S, Mexican or Canadian institution of higher education
- All applicants must demonstrate sufficient proficiency in the English language in form of a written statement attesting your proficiency or a copy of the TOEFL results.
ACI Foundation fellowships for Middle East and North Africa.
- To apply for the ACI Foundation Middle East & North Africa Fellowship, you must be a student at an Intuition at a participating Middle East & North Africa country.
- You must be graduate and undergraduate students in a concrete-related degree or program
- All applicants must demonstrate sufficient proficiency in the English language in form of a written statement attesting your proficiency or a copy of the TOEFL results.
- Those applying for the undergraduate scholarship, must be a full-time undergraduate at the time of applying for and during the entire award cycle
Application
Applications for both programmes are submitted online using the appropriate application form. You application must be submitted by the deadline of November 1, 2023.
To accompany your application, submit the following information
- You must complete your contact and educational information in the application form.
- Submit a A resume in Microsoft Word pdf format
- You will be required to write and submit a 500-word essay.
- Submit Official academic transcripts and diplomas
- You must submit proof of English language proficiency with a 4.0 grading scale
- Request and submit two (2) endorsements with one being from an ACI member
